Our Capretta range is a minimalist collection crafted from reclaimed Elm wood, bringing warmth and richness to its clean, linear design. With a timeless yet contemporary appeal, this collection embodies a modern living feel. The Capretta Milking Stool combines modern simplicity with organic influence, featuring angular A-frame legs and a round seat for a bold and balanced design.

Each piece in the Capretta range is hand-crafted from solid Elm with a smooth, lightly oiled, and sealed finish, enhancing the wood’s natural beauty. For additional durability, further sealant can be applied if desired.

The Capretta collection is of superior quality, with a generally uniform colour, finish, and hardness. However, as with all natural Elm, slight variations in colour and knots may be present. Our design partners and manufacturers carefully hand-cut and refill knots in the top - an intricate + time-demanding premium process carried out to Living By Design’s exact specifications. These natural variations are not considered faults but rather unique characteristics of the wood.
